Lost Book Policies

  • Students are required to return all materials in good condition.
     

  • Due dates are indicated on the back of the item in stamped format.
     

  • Overdue notices will be sent out to students with materials that have not been returned in excess of 30 days.
     

  • If an item is lost or damaged, students must pay for the item before any further item is checked out.

MCPS Regulation on Lost/Damaged Materials

A financial obligation is money owed to replace or repair MCPS property that has been lost or damaged, or to reimburse MCPS for unpaid fees owed by the student.
