Researching information can be a lot of work!  Sometimes, we don't often know where to begin. This site will give you a great place to start.

• Research Model. In MCPS, we use the AGOPPE research model. This page goes over each step

• Websites to begin researching. They are grouped by grade levels, but feel free to use any or all.

• Databases to go deeper into your researching. Also grouped by grade levels. As your media specialist for passwords and usernames.

• School Library Websites and other Resource Websites. Sometimes we need more information and this is the spot to get more.

• Selection Criteria. How were each of these sites/databases selected? Criteria is listed here.

• MCPS Policies and Guides. Rules and regulations for all students in MCPS and curriculum guides for Media and Research.
