Time for Kids is an informative news website that has real-life articles for kids, sometimes written by kids. The site contains articles on a variety of topics anywhere from sports to nutrition.

This site is all about energy and how we make it, use it and most importantly how we can save it. It talks about renewable and non-renewable sources along with how recycling fits into the energy puzzle.

Choosemyplate.gov is the latest site provided to the public about eating and nutrition. It is an informative site that provides adults, teens and children with a variety of information in engaging and interactive ways.

BrainPopJr. is a very popular and educational site for younger students to acquire information on a large variety of topics. Its animated interface and how it teaches younger students information is very fun and engaging. The site does require a paid subscription.

Kids USA.gov contains a lot of interactive games and videos, along with articles about practically any subject that a student in grades K-8 might be interested in. The site has a great deal of links to other sites that may provide more information.

Its allows reader to see and hear a variety of the artifacts that were originally made or established in America.

True to form, PBS has done a wonderful job in creating a fun and engaging site for students of many ages to come and learn about food and nutrition through Fizzy’s Lunch Lab. Through the use of many interactive features, students learn about food choices, facts about foods, how to cook different things, gardening and much more. .
